Tim is a London-trained food stylist, home economist & pastry chef
After placing runner-up in Le Cordon Bleu’s Pâtisserie Scholarship Competition in 2016, Tim trained as a pastry chef at The Savoy Hotel whilst completing his scholarship in Professional Pâtisserie and Confectionery at Westminster Kingsway College. He brings a strong technical foundation and a refined visual sensibility to commercial, editorial, and screen work.
Following a move to Edinburgh in 2019 to work at The Balmoral Hotel, he founded Schillicious, a contemporary bespoke cake business. In 2022, he gained international recognition after a nomination for Cake Masters’ Wedding Cake Award thanks to his “distinctive visual identity”. This ultimately sparked his transition into food styling.
Tim has worked alongside leading food stylists including Alice Ostan, Ben Boxall, Rebecca Rauter and Sian Davies for clients such as KFC, Knorr, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose. In 2024, he spent six months in Melbourne, Australia, assisting Jamie Humby, Gemma Smith, and Caroline Velik. Since, he has also worked in TV & Film alongside Jo Fahy as well as leading his own projects for clients such as Waitrose and smaller Scottish-based businesses.
In 2026, he was shortlisted for the Food Stylist Award in the World Food Photography Awards 2026.
Tim is based between Edinburgh and London, and available to travel worldwide.
